Yeah ed007 I seen some gameplay footage of this from Xbox conference yesterday ,looks really good maybe a little break was exactly what assassins creed needed

{Ed007's Note - I love the AC games and if I could go to bed and wake up when this comes out I would! :-D It looks like Ubisoft have really put the work into the game to get the franchise back on track after the dubious Unity and Syndicate.

interested to know opinions on the new xbox console though, this will be what the third xbox console released since xbox one? would sony follow suit after just releasing ps4 pro?

{Ed001's Note - I don't think Sony are ready for that mate, which is why Microsoft are pushing it, to get ahead. Personally I would rather they just got some good games for the previous console.}

but at that price point though, you can buy ps4 pro and xbox one s for that price no?

im not sure how it is in other places, but in my country not many can afford a 4k TV anyway.

do you think Sony will come out with another though?

im not going to get it, but itll push the prices of previous consoles further down which will benefit the many. just like AMD and Intel right now for CPUs, very happy with the competition.

{Ed001's Note - I don't see Microsoft even doing any more than using it as a development platform until next year to be honest. Sony will come out with one in time, I am sure. Both are just really waiting on the 4k TV to become more available, though Microsoft might gamble on their console getting people to splash out on a new TV to go with it.

It is a big gamble, they need games for the platform to make it work. Right now it is a pointless piece of kit, there are no games to push its capabilities. Personally I don't care, consoles are not what I look to if I want to play games that look great. That is what PC gaming is for. Console games should be about fun and quick and easy to pick up. This generation is already losing my interest because of the constant requirement to update a game for hours before you can play it.}

yeah to be fair I only really play fifa on the ps. sometimes other indie games that are cheap to play for fun with friends.

but most of my gaming is on the pc. console is nowhere near the PC really.

No point when I can't actually play any of the games as I put it on and every game I want to play needs an update before I can play it. By the time the update has done my time is up.

That is what they really need to fix - this releasing of half-arsed, unfinished, buggy games that then want you to pay lots of money for DLC that should have been a part of the original game.}

Yeah that's both Sony and Microsoft released 3 consoles of this same generation I don't see any more until they release ps5 and whatever stupid name the next Xbox is called

Yeah Xbox one x isn't a great name but I see what they tried to do with it spelling Xbox ,don't see many people paying 450quid for it though when you can play the same games on an Xbox s for 200 quid,is an extra 250 quid worth it for the same games but in 4K

Is that all it is tgen?, An Xbox one with 4k? If so that's ridiculous! I was thinking of getting it for Christmas but I think I'll wait for the next console to be released instead!

Yeah m8 it's a more powerful Xbox one ,just like the PS4 pro is a more powerful PS4 although it does look like most games will be in 4K unlike the pro that usually just upscales the image but does have some true 4K games as well

i think more power were also added to support streaming. i'm not sure how big streaming really is, but from consoles to CPUs and GPUs, most have been designed towards streaming lately.

im know streaming is massive, but what I meant was how many are looking to be streamers vs how many are watching the streams? most people I know watch these guys on twitch youtube etc, but none intend to be one.

to develop consoles and pcs geared towards streaming suggests there are many who intend to be streamers.

not sure if it is clear from what I wrote haha, but yeah streaming is definitely huge now.

{Ed001's Note - I think a lot of people want to do it, but the speed of the internet is normally an issue. Plus they do not have the followers to make it noticeable.}
