Well finally took the plunge. Got a switch with mario kart and zelda firstly I forgot how great mario kart is and then zelda. Best game ever and can't put into words it's blown my mind 2 hrs in and I can't see a game in history that's even half as good. Now I don't take much convincing on zelda as it's always been my favourite but Nintendo take a bow it's a masterpiece. You can do anything. In a world of modern action adventures that has been influenced by zelda you can throw your skyrims and witcher games at the wall and laugh at how shit they are compared to this! Get the switch if it's only for zelda because I'd spend £400 on this game any day of the week! Insane

{Ed007's Note - Me and the Mrs still play Mario Kart on the old Wii, I might get 'her' the new Switch for Christmas if she behaves herself ;)

Havent played zelda ever and don't think I can spend that much for another console just for the game but the game reviewers I trust tell the same things about what you mentioned in your post about zelda.

It really is a masterpiece. Always loved zelda and was actually cynical about the rave reviews but on reflection it appears those reviews were actuall played down a bit lol

Do you need to have played any other Zelda's to play this one? Last one I played was on the snes

No not at all mate. Obviously you will miss out on bits of law. But it explains it all well. All the games are stand alone. It's unreal. The world is maybe the biggest I've seen on a game and everywhere is accessible . Like in good old fashioned zelda style you will just need the equipment or stamina to scale any mountain you like! I'm going best game I've ever played and I'm only 10hrs in
