anyone here played heavy rain, now that was a game. heard they're making a ps4 version, tryna make some extra quid sony I see. The last game I played that was in its league was the last of us. why can't developers make good games like heavy rain etc. instead of the same rubbish every year. Looking at you EA.

{Ed001's Note - because it takes too long to develop new ideas and sell them to the consumers. Though they should be looking at the buzz around 'No Man's Sky' to see how much traction you can get with a new idea that is being developed.}

Wow just saw the E3 for 'No Man's Sky', looks amazing. So effectively your saying developers have to keep pushing the same jargon of crap every year e.g Cod, to make as much money for their overlords. that sucks really.

{Ed001's Note - pretty much mate. At least there are still games like No Man's Sky to give us all hope. It looks amazing.}

heavy rain was the reason I bought a ps3. ed001 its like an interactive movie. you can control the main charecters and walk around interacting with things, during cut scenes button prompts will appear on screen and you have to press them or do the action they suggest to affect the outcomes. a bit like the telltale games walking dead , wolf among us. choice being very important. one of my favorite scenes
Spoiler- you are requested to cut of a finger in an old house and it leaves it up to you how to treat it. it leaves things around you can interact with like a bottle of alcohol, a hot stove a knife and so on. you have to treat it yourself. what would you do. use the knife to off the finger, clean the wound with alcohol then seal it with the stove. if not done properly you may face consequences down the line.
also has a great twist.

noo don't do a remake they should just make a new one.

{Ed001's Note - I am not a fan of interactive movies myself. Sounds like a good one, but I prefer more freedom in my games.}
